Lace Tells

Lace Tells were traditionally sung as apprentice lacemakers placed pins in their pillows. In this inspirational Oxford based project, David Hopkins is hoping to rebuild these Tells from the lyrics known. We may learn more about the gruelling nature of lacemaking in a traditional school, and whether modern day lacemakers are up to the pace!
